PPA Community

🇬🇧  A while ago, the PPA established the PPA Community on WhatsApp to bring Families together in groups where they could connect and find answers to their questions.

We have the International Parents group, which welcomes ALL parents and is a place where Families can support each other in navigating life in Lisbon and Portugal – especially those who are new to the country or have recently returned. Families share advice on topics like residence permits, document translations, finding play areas for kids, joining book clubs, organizing meet-ups, making new friends, or simply having fun.

Additionally, we offer the PaRK IS Carpooling group for families interested in sharing rides to and from school.

Starting this week, we have also launched Senior School Year Groups, where parents can support each other in navigating PaRK and the new challenges their children face.

When joining the PPA Community and its groups, please read each group's description, keep an eye on the chat to avoid repeating questions that have already been answered, share relevant information, and remain positive and mindful in your messages.

Use the QR code shared on the Welcome Kit to join the PPA Community and find your groups. You'll also be receiving general information posted in the Announcements by the PPA.

By joining the PPA Community, you become part of a supportive network of parents who are eager to help, share experiences, and build lasting connections. Together, we can create a vibrant, inclusive community that enhances our Families' experiences and enriches our children's lives. 🇵🇹  Há algum tempo, a PPA criou a PPA Community no WhatsApp para juntar as Famílias do PaRK em grupos onde pudessem contactar e encontrar respostas para as suas questões.

Temos o grupo International Parents, que acolhe TODOS os pais e é um espaço onde as Famílias podem apoiar-se mutuamente nos desafios da vida em Lisboa e em Portugal – especialmente para quem é novo no país ou regressou recentemente. As Famílias partilham informação sobre tópicos como tratar de autorizações de residência ou traduções de documentos, quais os melhores espaços para brincar, procurar clubes de leitura, organizar encontros e criar novas amizades ou simplesmente divertir-se.

Temos também o grupo PaRK IS Carpooling para Famílias interessadas em partilhar boleias de e para a escola.

E esta semana, lançamos os Year Groups da Senior School, onde os pais podem esclarecer as suas dúvidas relacionadas com o PaRK e os novos desafios que os seus filhos enfrentam.

Ao juntar-se aos seus grupos, por favor leia a descrição de cada grupo, verifique as mensagens para evitar fazer perguntas que já tenham sido respondidas, partilhe informações relevantes e mantenha uma atitude positiva nas suas mensagens.
