Happy Hanukkah!

08/12/2022
Hanukkah (also spelled Chanukah or Chanukkah) is a joyous Jewish holiday that lasts for eight nights and usually occurs in December. This year Hanukkah starts on the evening of 18 Dec and ends on the evening of 26 Dec. Millions of people around the world - and many families at PaRK - celebrate Hanukkah! In the story of Hanukkah, a miracle occurred when a jug of pure oil was found. The oil was enough to light the lamp for one day, but it actually lasted for eight full days.
To celebrate Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, Jewish families around the world light the Menorah (a candle holder with a candle for each of the 8 nights), play Dreidel (a game with a spinning top), eat Latkes (potato pancakes), and celebrate with family and friends. We hope all of those celebrating have a happy and peaceful Hanukkah! How about trying some Hanukkah recipes? Check them out here! https://www.eatthis.com/easy-hanukkah-recipes/
