Happy Chinese New Year!

Sunday the 22nd of January marks the Chinese New Year (新年) also known as the Spring Festival (春节). It is the most important festival of the year for every Chinese and has been celebrated in China for thousands of years, with various forms of activities among the diverse regions of China.

2023 is a year of the Rabbit, starting from January 22nd, 2023 (Chinese New Year), and ending on February 9th, 2024 (Chinese New Year's Eve). 

The sign of Rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity in Chinese culture. 2023 is predicted to be a year of hope.

Domingo dia 22 de janeiro marca o Ano Novo Chinês (新年) também designado por Festival da Primavera (春节). É o festival mais importante do ano para os Chineses e é celebrado na China há milhares de anos, com atividades diferentes nas várias regiões da China.

O ano de 2023 é o ano do Coelho, começa a 22 de janeiro de 2023 (Ano Novo Chinês) e termina no dia 9 de fevereiro de 2024 (véspera de Ano Novo Chinês). O signo do Coelho é um símbolo de longevidade, paz e prosperidade na cultura chinesa. 2023 é previsto ser um ano de esperança.
