4th PPA Snow Trip

🇬🇧  The PPA organised yet another frosty and unforgettable adventure!

This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming six families from PaRK (including teachers), three of whom are regulars on these snowy getaways, and three who were experiencing the magic for the first time. The chosen destination was the charming resort of Avoriaz, in France, and for the very first time, the group travelled by plane — making the journey even more special.

The week was full of activity and good spirits. With ski and snowboard lessons, free time on the slopes and even night skiing, there were plenty of chances for everyone to push their limits. For those who preferred not to ski, there were still plenty of options: scenic walks, pilates and stretching sessions, relaxing moments in the jacuzzi, and other hotel activities that proved to be a hit.

Mealtimes were always a highlight, full of laughter and great conversation — and yes, there was even a sweet table that delighted both kids and adults alike. The cheerful atmosphere lasted all week, and by the end, no one wanted to leave. The beginners became true fans, and everyone's already talking about discovering a new resort next year.

To keep the spirit alive, a reunion weekend has already been planned for 31st May, in Covilhã, in the Serra da Estrela.

🇵🇹  A PPA organizou mais uma aventura gelada e inesquecível!

Este ano, tivemos o prazer de contar com seis famílias do PaRK (incluindo professores), sendo três delas assíduas nestas escapadinhas e outras três que se estrearam nesta experiência mágica. O destino escolhido foi a encantadora estância de Avoriaz, em França e, pela primeira vez, o grupo viajou de avião, o que tornou tudo ainda mais especial.

Foram dias cheios de atividade e boa disposição. Entre aulas de ski e snowboard, prática livre nas pistas e até ski noturno, houve oportunidades para todos se superarem. Para os que preferiram não esquiar, não faltaram alternativas: caminhadas, sessões de pilates e stretching, momentos relaxantes no jacuzzi e outras atividades no hotel fizeram sucesso.

As refeições foram sempre momentos de grande convívio, com direito a mesa de guloseimas que encantou miúdos e graúdos. A boa disposição reinou durante toda a semana e, no final, ninguém queria regressar. Os principiantes tornaram-se fãs e já todos estão a pensar na próxima incursão à neve.

Para matar saudades, está já marcado um reencontro para o fim de semana de 31 de maio, na Covilhã, na Serra da Estrela.
